It’s that time of year again – Malton Food Lovers Festival will 'set up stall' in the market town on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th May 2017.
This celebrated festival certainly attracts the crowds to the streets of Malton for the two-day celebration of food, drink and cookery.
Headliners include Levi Roots and Prue Leith along with cookery demonstrations, live music, family entertainment and much more.
Malton Food Lovers Festival started in 2009 with just 25 stalls and around 1,000 visitors. Last year, these figures leapt to 30,000 visitors and 160 stalls, many selling Yorkshire produce.
Here at Station Taxis, we know there’ll be some congestion during the run up to and during the event as road closures take place.
Our team of professional drivers know the places to avoid, so you can get about Malton and the surrounding area with ease.
This year, the festival also will extend into the evening with the Festival Party that kicks off at 5pm on Saturday, lasting until 10pm.
