Malton Show will take place on Sunday 30th June 2019 at Scampston Park, near the market town of the same name.
This show is one of the most loved in the area with a real family atmosphere and friendly welcome. In fact, the show is often called ‘the friendly one’ and is set to attract the crowds again this year.
The show includes cattle, sheep and goats; the fascinating fur and feather section; show jumping; a miniature railway; sheep dog trials; craft tent; a horticulture section; farm machinery; heavy horses; trade stands; food stands and a public bar.
There are also children’s races, reptile road show, paint balling, bungee flyers, donkey rides, farm machinery, and vintage tractors.
This year’s chosen charity is the Farming Community Network (FCN), chosen by the show’s President, Mr Charles Brader.
Malton Show has experienced good weather over the last few years, and if the sun shines, remember to take the sun cream, as Scampston is a real suntrap and the temperatures can soar.
There are numerous tradestands including farm businesses, clothing, food and drink, jewellery, books, timber products, vet stalls, and many, many more.
There's also the dedicated children's area for younger visitors and their families includng a miniature railway, donkey rides and much more.
TIf you decide to take your car, parking is available. However, Station Taxis can also take you from A to B on what will be a busy day on the roads. You can also take the dog, too.
